We are involved in researching the latest laboratory tests that enhance the personalised medicine programmes carried out at our clinics. These include genetic tests, intestinal permeability, microbiology, virology, microbiome dysbiosis, in addition to the latest inflammatory markers. These tests are then incorporated into our clinics by first assessing their relevance in an inflammatory clinical setting
We source and formulate prescription only supplements under our brand Biokonstra. We formulate specific personalised prescriptions to meet the treatment programmes of our patients. These prescriptions are designed to avoid herb prescription medicine contraindications. In addition to avoiding herbal and other ingredients that are not metabolised by our patients based on their genetic make up.
Our core work is research and translation of our research into novel treatment protocols. Our work is constantly evolving and we always enjoy remaining in the steep learning part of the curve. This thirst for more knowledge has allowed us to succeed in assisting our patients where other larger more established clinics and centres failed.

Doctor Abigail El-Doueik is a medical doctor with over 20 years experience in the NHS. Dr Abigail has a broad background in medicine having worked in general practice as well as Intensive care, surgery, acute emergency medicine and paediatrics. Dr Abigail studied medicine at King's College London, with clinical attachments at Guy's, King's & St.Thomas Hospitals. Dr Abigail has an additional degree in Immunology and has spent time in a research laboratory working on the immunology behind type 1 diabetes. She has worked at The Royal Brompton Hospital, The Royal Berkshire Hospital and The John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and within general practice in Berkshire/Buckinghamshire.

Haytham has a multi-disciplinary background that spans
thirty
years in medicinal herb growing,
herbal extract preparations, use of herbal extracts in clinic settings, scientific background in
immunology and finally translational medicine. Haytham has trained in translational medicine and
developed vaccine delivery systems that strengthen immunity responses against HIV as part of the
Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Haytham completed his post doctoral training at Oxford University at the department of clinical
pharmacology, working on understanding inflammation in HIV infections.
Haytham then set up a team of investigators at Oxford University, at the department of oncology
on behalf of a Swiss phyto-pharmaceutical Biotech company, to screen herbal extracts for their
immune modulating effects.
In 2012 Haytham has applied his translational Medicine training to develop integrated medicine
protocols for a clinic in the ME region. In 2013 Haytham co-founded with his wife Dr Abigail
their first integrated medicine clinic in Oxfordshire. And then moved to London and setup
Pharmakopoeia Laboratories and Integrated Immunology Clinic.
